Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Bahri Cesur made the kick off which started today's match. After 3 played minutes, Baskil SK's Yücel Orkun shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Mustafa Barış İdrisoğlu came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Baskil SK reached it. Baskil SK's Tolga Başkurt got a good chance for a goal in the 6th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 11 played minutes Baskil SK got a freekick which was hit by Samir Resul. In the 12th minute, Derman Özgur sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Baskil SK's Cevat Kantürk didn't even have to move. Tolga Başkurt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Mustafa Hakan Akersoy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a defensive mix-up in Mengen's zone, Mustafa Hakan Akersoy stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mustafa Barış İdrisoğlu came out of the goal and Mustafa Hakan Akersoy tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Baskil SK getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Tolga Başkurt hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tolga Başkurt in the 26th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mustafa Barış İdrisoğlu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Mustafa Hakan Akersoy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mustafa Barış İdrisoğlu having to interfere. A collision led to Mengen getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Asım Arif Ahıska hit a great ball. Tolga Başkurt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 39 minutes into the game, Baskil SK's Tolga Başkurt nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mustafa Barış İdrisoğlu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. After 43 minutes, Tolga Başkurt mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Baskil SK and the Mengen players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 43rd match minute, Baskil SK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tolga Başkurt to maneuver through the defense. Mengen's Aytek Ufki got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After the first half Baskil SK were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tolga Başkurt to strike the kick off in the second half. Mustafa Barış İdrisoğlu made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Mustafa Hakan Akersoy sent off a good shot on target. 57 minutes into the game, Mengen's Aytek Ufki nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cevat Kantürk made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. In the 60th match minute, Baskil SK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tolga Başkurt to maneuver through the defense. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 67th minute of the game. One of Mengen:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Baskil SK:s goal. The goalkeeper, Mustafa Barış İdrisoğlu, was totally fooled by Baskil SK's Ali Galip Uçma, who 69 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Tolga Başkurt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Mustafa Barış İdrisoğlu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mengen's Mustafa Barış İdrisoğlu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 76th minute of the match, managed to save Mengen from getting a goal against them. Mustafa Hakan Akersoy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Mengen's zone, Tolga Başkurt stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mustafa Barış İdrisoğlu came out of the goal and Tolga Başkurt tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 83rdth minute of the game Tolga Başkurt who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mengen's Mustafa Barış İdrisoğlu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Bahri Cesur had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 90th minute Tolga Başkurt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mustafa Barış İdrisoğlu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mustafa Barış İdrisoğlu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tolga Başkurt in the 95th minute of play. 96 minutes into the game, Samir Resul was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Baskil SK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mengen the free kick. In the 96th minute, Samir Resul hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Baskil SK played a much better game than Mengen and deserved their victory. The Mengen players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
