The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a defensive mix-up in Sarioglan SK's zone, İsmail Cem Kutulmuş stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Enginalp Taşcan came out of the goal and İsmail Cem Kutulmuş tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. İsmail Cem Kutulmuş fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Enginalp Taşcan having to interfere. Barış Münir's late challenge caught a Emet SK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Barış Münir helped the player get up and apologised. Eren Kocaman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Enginalp Taşcan having to interfere. Songur Akoğlu had several of the Emet SK's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 24 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-0 score and a disappointed Muhammet Mutluer as he didn't even see the shot coming. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gafur Tekmil in the 28th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Enginalp Taşcan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience thought a goal was coming when Songur Akoğlu got free with Muhammet Mutluer in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Emet SK's Muhammet Mutluer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gürol Batıhan in the 32nd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Songur Akoğlu got free with Muhammet Mutluer in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Gürol Batıhan made the kick off in the second half. If Aytunç Olcaytug had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Atıf Bulut sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Songur Akoğlu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Muhammet Mutluer having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Gafur Tekmil managed to get in a good position for a shot. Emet SK's supporters rose to their feet, but Gafur Tekmil was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Enginalp Taşcan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 86th minute, Gürol Batıhan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Songur Akoğlu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Muhammet Mutluer having to interfere. Songur Akoğlu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Muhammet Mutluer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 92nd minute, Gürol Batıhan left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sarioglan SK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. The supporters of Sarioglan SK booed when Emet SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Asrın Songur didn't get a good kick on the ball. Muhammet Mutluer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Songur Akoğlu in the 96th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Sarioglan SK had won after a very even match.
