Bilgin Okhan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Doğukan Efe having to interfere. Bilgin Okhans short, quick shot in the 12thth minute got Doğukan Efe to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Tarık Aydıntan hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Veliöldük SK's Doğaner Onurkan got a free kick in the 16th minute. The Marmara FK fans' excitement grew in the 19th match minute when Marmara FK's Mehmet Emin Gündem looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Nihat Osman stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Bilgin Okhan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 73rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Marmara FK's goalkeeper Doğukan Efe, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some careless play in the Marmara FK defense, Nihat Osman kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Doğukan Efe. The Marmara FK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Doğukan Efe should have stopped the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Marmara FK's zone, Bilgin Okhan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Doğukan Efe came out of the goal and Bilgin Okhan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 95th minute Bilgin Okhan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Doğukan Efe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. For all the effort they put into the match, the Marmara FK players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Veliöldük SK.
