Gündüz Sururi's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 29thth minute, Sümer Canpolat skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. If Güralp Torgay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 31 minutes into the game, Utkan Uyar was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Kirsehir's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cayeli the free kick. In the 31st match minute, Kirsehir was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Utkan Uyar to maneuver through the defense. Erdinç Göktürk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Cayeli getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Doğuş Peyam hit a great ball. In the 47th minute, Saadettin Okman sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Cayeli's Sümer Canpolat didn't even have to move. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

In the 54th minute, Gündüz Sururi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Mehdi Selahaddin fell near the penalty area in the 56th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cayeli's protests and gave Mehdi Selahaddin a yellow card for diving instead. Mehdi Selahaddin hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. If Gündüz Sururi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 64th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cayeli's goalkeeper Sümer Canpolat, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Sümer Canpolat showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gündüz Sururi, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Gündüz Sururi struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Sümer Canpolat didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kirsehir. Gündüz Sururi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 99th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sümer Canpolat having to interfere. Kirsehir's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
