The tension between the Körfez JK and the Samsat players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Samsat booed when Körfez JK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kutlu Yenbu didn't get a good kick on the ball. 48 minutes into the match, Körfez JK's goal looked a bit too open when Eray Kınık came free, but Hamza Şahinalp reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

If Sabri Kamver had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Samsat had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
