In the 4th minute, Bahtiyar Ömür hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nejat Şahinalp during the 10th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Ilgin getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Nejat Şahinalp hit a great ball. Besim Turatekin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ömer Nevruz took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 25th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ege Oytunç. Ilgin's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Merih Kayı recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Nejat Şahinalp had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nejat Şahinalp sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 33 minutes into the game, Abdulmelik Uluğ was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Haymana FK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ilgin the free kick. The supporters of Ilgin booed when Haymana FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abdulmelik Uluğ didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 34th minute, Abdulmelik Uluğ hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Ilgin's Merih Kayı in the 36th minute got a chance for a shot 36th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Haymana FK's goalie prevented a goal. In the 37th minute the ball was on its way in behind Haymana FK's goalkeeper Besim Turatekin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Nejat Şahinalp blasted a shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Besim Turatekin having to make a save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nejat Şahinalp in the 40th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Besim Turatekin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Besim Turatekin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nejat Şahinalp, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ilgin's Merih Kayı got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Haymana FK getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Bahtiyar Ömür hit a great ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Merih Kayı made the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute of the match Ilgin got a corner. Haymana FK's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Orhun Peykan ran over to the corner to take the kick. A collision led to Ilgin getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Hamdullah Gençoğlu hit a great ball. Haymana FK's Besim Turatekin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to save Haymana FK from getting a goal against them. Ahmet Korkut Yalazan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Ege Oytunç tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 68th minute the ball was on its way in behind Haymana FK's goalkeeper Besim Turatekin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Haymana FK's Abdulmelik Uluğ got a free kick in the 69th minute. With a little luck, Haymana FK's Besim Turatekin got control of the ball when Nejat Şahinalp tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 70th minute, Nejat Şahinalp reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Besim Turatekin. The goal made the score 0-1. Ege Oytunç showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erdal Hançer, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Merih Kayı recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Merih Kayı had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Nejat Şahinalp managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ilgin's supporters rose to their feet, but Nejat Şahinalp was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Besim Turatekin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erdal Hançer in the 87th minute of play forced Ilgin's goalkeeper Ege Oytunç to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Ahmet Korkut Yalazan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ege Oytunç made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erdal Hançer in the 95th minute of play. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Ilgin eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
