Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Polonezköy's Yusuf Ziya Ogün started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With a little luck, Gerze SK's Talip Sulasi got control of the ball when İlhami Lema tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 12th minute of the match Fadıl İkbal sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Bedirhan Girgin skillfully saved the ball. Talip Sulasi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yusuf Ziya Ogün, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. In the 17th minute, Cesur Yabgu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bedirhan Girgin was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Cesur Yabgu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Bedirhan Girgin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. İlhami Lema received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Talip Sulasi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If İlhami Lema had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. İlhami Lema could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Talip Sulasi made a huge save. In the 37th minute Yusuf Ziya Ogün shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Talip Sulasi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Yusuf Ziya Ogün was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 38th minute. Polonezköy's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Polonezköy's Bedirhan Girgin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sümer Adalıoğlu in the 41st minute of play. After the first half Gerze SK were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Cesur Yabgu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Bedirhan Girgin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 57 minutes into the match, Yusuf Ziya Ogün notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Gerze SK's Talip Sulasi. Talip Sulasi was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Talip Sulasi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yusuf Ziya Ogün in the 63rd minute of the match. Gerze SK's Talip Sulasi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by İlhami Lema in the 67th minute of play. A collision led to Polonezköy getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Batıkan Akbel hit a great ball. Sümer Adalıoğlu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cesur Yabgu might have been able to make a better finish in the 79th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bedirhan Girgin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cesur Yabgu ran back to his position shaking his head. 80 minutes in the game, Sümer Adalıoğlu fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Bedirhan Girgin having to interfere. Bedirhan Girgin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cesur Yabgu in the 86th minute of play. If Cesur Yabgu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Gerze SK fans' excitement grew in the 90th match minute when Gerze SK's Cesur Yabgu looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Yusuf Ziya Ogün sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 96 minutes, Cesur Yabgu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gerze SK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cesur Yabgu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bedirhan Girgin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cesur Yabgu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Gerze SK eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
