Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Yusuf Ziya Ogün got the match started through his kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Kandemir Türegün during the 10th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 16th match minute, Edirne was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Necmi Akkuş to maneuver through the defense. Bedirhan Girgin didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Özkan Nuri went, in the 22nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Üzeyir Başar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Bedirhan Girgin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Yusuf Ziya Ogün might have been able to make a better finish in the 35th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sertaç Zahit. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Yusuf Ziya Ogün ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 38th minute the ball was on its way in behind Edirne's goalkeeper Sertaç Zahit, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Yusuf Ziya Ogün took the ball and in the 40 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sertaç Zahit. Sertaç Zahit dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Derviş Kılınç kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. Sertaç Zahit made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from İlhami Lema in the 47th minute of play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Özkan Nuri to make the kick off. With his leg Sertaç Zahit managed to avoid a goal in the 56thth minute, when Polonezköy's İlhami Lema fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The supporters of Edirne booed when Polonezköy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Yusuf Ziya Ogün didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 61stth minute of the game Üzeyir Başar who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Polonezköy's Bedirhan Girgin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Polonezköy's Bedirhan Girgin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Üzeyir Başar in the 65th minute of play. In the 70thth minute of the game Yusuf Ziya Ogün who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Edirne's Sertaç Zahit was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Bedirhan Girgin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Özkan Nuri, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. During the 77th minute of the match Kandemir Türegün completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Kandemir Türegün a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 78th match minute, Edirne was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kandemir Türegün to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Edirne getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Necmi Akkuş hit a great ball. After 83 minutes, Batu Cem Köken mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Polonezköy and the Edirne players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 83rd minute, Batu Cem Köken hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Üzeyir Başar in the 84th minute of play forced Polonezköy's goalkeeper Bedirhan Girgin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Edirne booed when Polonezköy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Batu Cem Köken didn't get a good kick on the ball. Özkan Nuri charged in rather forcefully in the 89th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Özkan Nuri the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Edirne's Özkan Nuri got a free kick in the 89th minute. 90 minutes into the match, Polonezköy's Batıkan Akbel broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal.
