Halit Fahri Recep made a fantastic save in the 7th minute, when Anıl Gencay sent off a good shot on target. Gönen JK's Halit Fahri Recep played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dündar Tümerkan in the 9th minute of play. Anıl Gencays short, quick shot in the 11thth minute got Halit Fahri Recep to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 14 minutes into the match, Karapinar's goal looked a bit too open when Mehmet Ali Özel came free, but Cafer Kuntay reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Halit Fahri Recep showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dündar Tümerkan in the 16th minute of the match. If Dündar Tümerkan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mehmet Ali Özel in the 23rd minute of play forced Karapinar's goalkeeper Cafer Kuntay to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 24 played minutes Karapinar got a freekick which was hit by Eyüp Sipahi. The Gönen JK fans' excitement grew in the 29th match minute when Gönen JK's Alpertunga Şafakoğlu looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. With a little luck, Gönen JK's Halit Fahri Recep got control of the ball when Anıl Gencay tried to sneak it across the goal line. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 37th minute of the game. One of Karapinar:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Gönen JK:s goal. Fetih Savtekin shot the penalty kick right outside the post. Cafer Kuntay made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alpertunga Şafakoğlu in the 41st minute of play. If Alpertunga Şafakoğlu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cafer Kuntay showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mehmet Ali Özel in the 44th minute of the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The wind increased when Dündar Tümerkan made the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Karapinar's zone, Alpertunga Şafakoğlu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cafer Kuntay came out of the goal and Alpertunga Şafakoğlu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Anıl Gencay struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Halit Fahri Recep didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Karapinar. Mehmet Ali Özel's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cafer Kuntay read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 63rd minute of play. Anıl Gencay sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dündar Tümerkan struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. Halit Fahri Recep didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Karapinar. Anıl Gencay received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Halit Fahri Recep tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Dündar Tümerkan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Talha Baransel hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. Karapinar's Cafer Kuntay proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save Karapinar from getting a goal against them. Halit Fahri Recep showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dündar Tümerkan, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. If Alpertunga Şafakoğlu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
