Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 7 minutes into the match, Ikitelli SK's goalkeeper Paşa Ali Yamanöz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rahman Münib. Poyraz Oruz struck a weak shot in the 9th minute. Kuddusî Tonguç didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ikitelli SK. If Reis Hicab had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Pangalti defense, Poyraz Oruz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kuddusî Tonguç. The Pangalti fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kuddusî Tonguç should have stopped the shot. Pangalti's Kuddusî Tonguç played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Poyraz Oruz in the 22nd minute of play. Poyraz Oruz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kuddusî Tonguç having to interfere. Reis Hicab blasted a shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Kuddusî Tonguç having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Poyraz Oruz in the 27th minute of play forced Pangalti's goalkeeper Kuddusî Tonguç to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kuddusî Tonguç took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Deniz Falcıoğlu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kuddusî Tonguç made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Poyraz Oruz in the 35th minute of play. After having played for 36 minutes, Yusuf Ziya Karaoğlan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pangalti's supporters crossed their fingers, but Yusuf Ziya Karaoğlan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ali Hamza Yücel kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. Rahman Münib received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Paşa Ali Yamanöz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Deniz Falcıoğlu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ikitelli SK's supporters rose to their feet, but Deniz Falcıoğlu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kuddusî Tonguç breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Poyraz Oruz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ikitelli SK's supporters rose to their feet, but Poyraz Oruz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kuddusî Tonguç breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Yusuf Ziya Karaoğlan stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 53 minutes, Sabit İlkim mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ikitelli SK and the Pangalti players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Pangalti booed when Ikitelli SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sabit İlkim didn't get a good kick on the ball. 54 minutes into the game, Rahman Münib cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Paşa Ali Yamanöz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 60th minute, Rahman Münib got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 63rd minute Reis Hicab shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kuddusî Tonguç saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Semi Rakim charged in rather forcefully in the 65th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Semi Rakim the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In a very dangerous position, a player in Ikitelli SK fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 64th minute. Penalty! The referee gave Pangalti a penalty, 66 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Hayrullah İrfanoğlu, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Ikitelli SK's Paşa Ali Yamanöz. 2-1. Reis Hicab was extremely unlucky when he, in the 71st minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. 78 minutes into the match, Ikitelli SK's goal looked a bit too open when Rahman Münib came free, but Paşa Ali Yamanöz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 81st minute Reis Hicab shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kuddusî Tonguç saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 82 minutes into the game, Şinasi Merdan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pangalti's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ikitelli SK the free kick. In the 82nd match minute, Pangalti was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Şinasi Merdan to maneuver through the defense. Kuddusî Tonguç made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Reis Hicab in the 83rd minute of play. Kuddusî Tonguç was out of position in the 85 minute of play, and Reis Hicab capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Reis Hicab really showed his touch with that goal: 2-2. In the 93rd minute, Ikitelli SK's Reis Hicab ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Kuddusî Tonguç. Kuddusî Tonguç yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-3. The Pangalti supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Ikitelli SK's performance. The match ended with a win for Ikitelli SK.
