An unexpectedly hard shot by Kadir Haliloğlu in the 26th minute of play forced Lapseki's goalkeeper Seyrani Onsoy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zülfikar Şimşek could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 42nd minute of the match, but Burhan Özgener made a huge save. If Zülfikar Şimşek had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sabri Kutlubay was the one to do the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Lapseki's zone, Nurkan Kurhan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Seyrani Onsoy came out of the goal and Nurkan Kurhan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 55 minutes into the match, Avanos SK's Nurkan Kurhan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Seyrani Onsoy narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Asım Arif Veli kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. A collision led to Avanos SK getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Mümtazer Yıldırımtürk hit a great ball. Lapseki's Asım Arif Veli suffered a sore thigh after 65 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Taci Mengücek charged in rather forcefully in the 65th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Taci Mengücek the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 66th minute, Taci Mengücek hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice moves Nurkan Kurhan could shoot a difficult shot in the 68th minute, which Seyrani Onsoy however easily saved by the left post. 70 minutes into the match, Avanos SK's goal looked a bit too open when Yusuf Bahadır Ozan came free, but Burhan Özgener reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Burhan Özgener didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Zülfikar Şimşek went, in the 71st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score.
