If Aybek Mutlusoy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Aybek Mutlusoy came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the Petkim fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aybek Mutlusoy couldn't finish the play. Gencalp Ilgın hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cüneyt Ünsev got free with Arif Egemen Akbey in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Turabi Öztaylan might have been able to make a better finish in the 22nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Uluç İçten. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Turabi Öztaylan ran back to his position shaking his head. 22 minutes into the game, Abdulvahit Ceylan cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Uluç İçten was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After having played for 30 minutes, Abdulvahit Ceylan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gündogmus JK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Abdulvahit Ceylan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Turabi Öztaylan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 34 minutes, Cüneyt Ünsev managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Petkim's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cüneyt Ünsev was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ersan Gümüşcüoğlu kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. When Cüneyt Ünsev fell near the penalty area in the 42nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Petkim's protests and gave Cüneyt Ünsev a yellow card for diving instead. After 42 played minutes Petkim got a freekick which was hit by Cüneyt Ünsev. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Aybek Mutlusoy made a kick off. Aybek Mutlusoy's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Arif Egemen Akbey read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 58th minute of play. In the 60th minute, Aybek Mutlusoy made a precise shot to the right of Arif Egemen Akbey. Gündogmus JK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Cüneyt Ünsev fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arif Egemen Akbey having to interfere. Arif Egemen Akbey stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Aybek Mutlusoy's shot from short distance in the 66th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dilaver Derim during the 72nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Petkim getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Dilaver Derim hit a great ball. Uluç İçten was a little too slow when Turabi Öztaylan got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 73rd minute. The score was now 1-3. In the 76th minute, Cüneyt Ünsev got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 79thth minute of the game Cüneyt Ünsev who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gündogmus JK's Arif Egemen Akbey was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Aybek Mutlusoy scored 2-3 in the 81st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Arif Egemen Akbey, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Cüneyt Ünsev had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cüneyt Ünsev in the 90th minute of play forced Gündogmus JK's goalkeeper Arif Egemen Akbey to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Turabi Öztaylan struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Uluç İçten didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gündogmus JK. The Gündogmus JK supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Gündogmus JK would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
