The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a rather tough play, Diski's Yetkin Zeyrek got a free kick in the 4th minute. Tayyip Hicran scored 1-0 in the 7th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bahattin Hızır, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 12th minute the ball was on its way in behind Diski's goalkeeper İldeniz Yergin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 13 minutes into the match, Maltepespor's Doğuhan Ulus sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that İldeniz Yergin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Doğuhan Ulus struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. İldeniz Yergin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Maltepespor. Diski's İldeniz Yergin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by İbrahim Koytan in the 20th minute of play. After 30 played minutes Diski got a freekick which was hit by Tayyip Hicran. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, İbrahim Koytan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Maltepespor's supporters rose to their feet, but İbrahim Koytan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. İldeniz Yergin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 33rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Diski's goalkeeper İldeniz Yergin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 35 played minutes Diski got a freekick which was hit by Ahmet Ceyhan Rıdvan. After a defensive mix-up in Diski's zone, Doğuhan Ulus stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. İldeniz Yergin came out of the goal and Doğuhan Ulus tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. İldeniz Yergin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Doğuhan Ulus, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ahmet Sedat Haseki kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for İbrahim Koytan to strike the kick off in the second half. Tayyip Hicran sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ahmet Sedat Haseki hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. Maltepespor's Metin Sezal shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 59th minute of play. The shot was stopped by İldeniz Yergin but with some difficulty. İldeniz Yergin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from İbrahim Koytan in the 64th minute of play. Bahattin Hızır took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Batıhan Tekalp, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Metin Sezal struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. İldeniz Yergin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Maltepespor. Şehzade Önen hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. Bahattin Hızır took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Batıhan Tekalp, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. İldeniz Yergin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from İbrahim Koytan, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. 95 minutes into the match, Diski's goal looked a bit too open when İbrahim Koytan came free, but İldeniz Yergin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bahattin Hızır made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Batıhan Tekalp in the 96th minute of play. For all the effort they put into the match, the Maltepespor players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Diski.
