The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the game, Hilmi İzmirli was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ceyhan JK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Iznik FK the free kick. The supporters of Iznik FK booed when Ceyhan JK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hilmi İzmirli didn't get a good kick on the ball. 6 minutes into the game, Ramiz Atacan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. In the 6th match minute, Iznik FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ramiz Atacan to maneuver through the defense. 7 minutes into the match, Iznik FK's goalkeeper Çağatay Gökyüzü had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Okan Gültekin. In the 11th minute, Ozan Toydeniz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 15 played minutes Iznik FK got a freekick which was hit by Arcan Tunçtürk. With an all-out effort, Ceyhan JK's Çağatay Gökyüzü threw himself towards the right post 17 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Baturalp Duran, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 19th minute, one of Ceyhan JK:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Ceyhan JK. The referee gave Iznik FK a penalty, 21 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Battal Cüneyt Olcaytug, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Ceyhan JK's Şenol Özluer. 0-1. In a very dangerous position, a player in Ceyhan JK fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 24th minute. Penalty! Ceyhan JK:s Şenol Özluer showed great skill when he stopped Battal Cüneyt Olcaytug:s penalty. Battal Cüneyt Olcaytug took the ball and in the 26 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Şenol Özluer. In the 38th minute, Ceyhan JK's Baturalp Duran dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-3. 42 minutes into the match, Ahmet Ziya İşkembeci notched a goal, 1-4, to the right of Ceyhan JK's Şenol Özluer. Şenol Özluer was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 45 played minutes Ceyhan JK got a freekick which was hit by Celal Yöner.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ahmet Ziya İşkembeci to strike the kick off in the second half. After 53 played minutes Iznik FK got a freekick which was hit by Sungur Değirmenci. Çağatay Gökyüzü showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Baturalp Duran, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Yağız Çağar during the 65th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 64 minutes into the game, one of Ceyhan JK:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 66th minute there was a penalty for Iznik FK. Battal Cüneyt Olcaytug stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Şenol Özluer. 1-5. Okan Gültekin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Çağatay Gökyüzü tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 75 minutes into the match, Ceyhan JK's goal looked a bit too open when Ahmet Ziya İşkembeci came free, but Şenol Özluer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Iznik FK booed when Ceyhan JK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ozan Toydeniz didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Ceyhan JK's Yahya Kemal Mutluer got a free kick in the 82nd minute. 84 minutes in the game Battal Cüneyt Olcaytug after having made a beautiful turn got a great opportunity to score and fired away a shot that went just to the left past a relieved Şenol Özluer. A very good opportunity. Ceyhan JK's defense didn't have a chance, in the 90th minute, when Ahmet Ziya İşkembeci scored to the left of an out of position Şenol Özluer, making the score, 1-6. Ahmet Ziya İşkembeci received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Şenol Özluer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 97thth minute of the game Okan Gültekin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Iznik FK's Çağatay Gökyüzü was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Çağatay Gökyüzü showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Baturalp Duran in the 99th minute of the match. Iznik FK's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
