Çağatay Davutoğlu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Yücel Özyuva made a fantastic save in the 18th minute, when Baskın Taştekin sent off a good shot on target. Yücel Özyuva showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cüneyt İlbilge in the 21st minute of the match. In the 22nd match minute, Topkapi JK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bedirhan Cemşit to maneuver through the defense. In the 24th minute of the match Birsel Türek sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Çağatay Davutoğlu skillfully saved the ball. After 25 played minutes Topkapi JK got a freekick which was hit by Özden Tümenbay. An unexpected shot in the 29th minute by Cüneyt İlbilge got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Baskın Taştekin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Yücel Özyuva tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cüneyt İlbilge blasted a shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Yücel Özyuva having to make a save. Cüneyt İlbilge sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 40 minutes into the match, Topkapi JK's goal looked a bit too open when Seçkin Özan came free, but Çağatay Davutoğlu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Baskın Taştekin struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Yücel Özyuva didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Topkapi JK. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Seçkin Özan to strike the kick off in the second half. Çağatay Davutoğlu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Seçkin Özan in the 57th minute of play. Baskın Taştekin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Yücel Özyuva read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 59th minute of play. In the 67th minute Cüneyt İlbilge shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yücel Özyuva saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Cüneyt İlbilge had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Topkapi JK's defense didn't have a chance, in the 80th minute, when Seçkin Özan scored to the left of an out of position Çağatay Davutoğlu, making the score, 0-2. In the 84th minute, Korcan Ongu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 89th minute Seçkin Özan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Çağatay Davutoğlu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Seçkin Özan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Çağatay Davutoğlu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Topkapi JK's Özden Tümenbay got a free kick in the 93rd minute. Cüneyt İlbilge fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yücel Özyuva having to interfere. The Topkapi JK supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Sungurlu's performance. The match ended with a win for Sungurlu.
