Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Güngör Kaçan kicked off to start the match. Korkut Eski hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. When Refik Halit Ilıcan came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the Findikzade fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Refik Halit Ilıcan couldn't finish the play. Yaser Taşdan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mahsun Energin having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Izmit's Korkut Eski got a free kick in the 8th minute. 9 minutes into the game, Bulut Okanay cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Güntekin Satvet was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The crowd rose to their feet as Izmit's Güngör Kaçan slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Mahsun Energin. That made the score 1-1 after 15 minutes of play. Güngör Kaçan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mahsun Energin having to interfere. Yaser Taşdan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 28th match minute, Izmit was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ali Cafer Timurcan to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Güngör Kaçan in the 32nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mahsun Energin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Mahsun Energin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Yaser Taşdan in the 34th minute. Güngör Kaçan might have been able to make a better finish in the 35th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mahsun Energin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Güngör Kaçan ran back to his position shaking his head. Mahsun Energin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Güngör Kaçan in the 36th minute of the match. Mahsun Energin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Güngör Kaçan, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. With 48 minutes on the clock, Nusrettin Baler commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 47th minute of the game. One of Izmit:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Findikzade:s goal. The referee gave Findikzade a penalty, 50 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Deniz Ünsevin, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Izmit's Güntekin Satvet. 1-2. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Refik Halit Ilıcan made a kick off. Mahsun Energin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Acun İlkutay, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ahmet Sedat Çinucen hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. Refik Halit Ilıcan's late challenge caught a Izmit's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Refik Halit Ilıcan helped the player get up and apologised. Refik Halit Ilıcan kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. Refik Halit Ilıcan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Güntekin Satvet tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 71st minute, Izmit's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Bulut Okanay fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Izmit's defense didn't have a chance, in the 72nd minute, when Refik Halit Ilıcan scored to the left of an out of position Güntekin Satvet, making the score, 1-3. Güntekin Satvet didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bulut Okanay went, in the 75th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-4 was the resulting score. Yaser Taşdan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mahsun Energin having to interfere. After 85 played minutes Izmit got a freekick which was hit by Korkut Eski. Refik Halit Ilıcan blasted a shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Güntekin Satvet having to make a save. In the 87th minute, Acun İlkutay hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 89 minutes in the game, Bulut Okanay fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Güntekin Satvet having to interfere. In the 92nd minute Yaser Taşdan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mahsun Energin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Yaser Taşdan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mahsun Energin having to interfere. Acun İlkutay received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Mahsun Energin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 100th minute, Samir Yeltekin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Findikzade had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
