Çetin Dertsiz might have been able to make a better finish in the 3rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tolunay Erkılınç. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Çetin Dertsiz ran back to his position shaking his head. 3 minutes into the match, Kahta SK's goal looked a bit too open when Çetin Dertsiz came free, but Tolunay Erkılınç reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kahta SK's Tolunay Erkılınç played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Çetin Dertsiz in the 9th minute of play. Alim Akbulut took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ayvaz Verim, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ayvaz Verim was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 12th minute. Kahta SK's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Coşkun Tanzer got free with Alim Akbulut in the 13th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Coşkun Tanzer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Alim Akbulut tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 18 played minutes Kahta SK got a freekick which was hit by Rıdvan Safvetullah. Alim Akbulut made an important save on a dangerous shot by Coşkun Tanzer in the 22nd minute. Kahta SK's Coşkun Tanzer got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Aral Yalman managed to get in a good position for a shot. Besiri FK's supporters rose to their feet, but Aral Yalman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tolunay Erkılınç breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tolunay Erkılınç showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aral Yalman, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Ayvaz Verim managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kahta SK's supporters rose to their feet, but Ayvaz Verim was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alim Akbulut breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Aytekin Kazan kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Tolunay Erkılınç showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aral Yalman in the 33rd minute of the match. Tolunay Erkılınç was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Zülfikar Baransel fell near the penalty area in the 46th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Besiri FK's protests and gave Zülfikar Baransel a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Besiri FK getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Zülfikar Baransel hit a great ball.

The wind increased when Çetin Dertsiz made the kick off in the second half. Ayvaz Verim received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Alim Akbulut tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Coşkun Tanzer in the 63rd minute of play forced Besiri FK's goalkeeper Alim Akbulut to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Ayvaz Verim's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alim Akbulut was relentless in the 64th minute of the game. When the match clock showed 87 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Çetin Dertsiz sped through Kahta SK's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Tolunay Erkılınç. Kahta SK's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Rıdvan Safvetullah in the 99th minute. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Besiri FK walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
