After 4 minutes of play, Karakecili FK's Mutlu Kahya made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alptuğ Lemi was left in no man's land by his defense there! Namık Kemal Tunçsoy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bora Şenbay in the 7th minute of play. Güntekin Hanönü might have been able to make a better finish in the 10th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alptuğ Lemi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Güntekin Hanönü ran back to his position shaking his head. Güntekin Hanönü received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Alptuğ Lemi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Necmettin Köken sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Karakecili FK's Mutlu Kahya got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Güntekin Hanönü had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Necmettin Köken had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Bora Şenbay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Mutlu Kahya had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alptuğ Lemi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Güntekin Hanönü, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Güntekin Hanönü was the one to do the kick off. In the 62nd minute, Karakecili FK's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Necmettin Köken fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. 65 minutes into the match, Alpu's Necmettin Köken sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Namık Kemal Tunçsoy narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Necmettin Köken could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Namık Kemal Tunçsoy made a huge save. After 73 played minutes Alpu got a freekick which was hit by İnanç Akkuş. In the 75th minute, Tolga Revis sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Alpu's Alptuğ Lemi didn't even have to move. Alptuğ Lemi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Güntekin Hanönü, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. After 87 minutes Alpu's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Tolga Revis who took care of the corner kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Osman Ali Öktem heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Güntekin Hanönü received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Alptuğ Lemi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 96th minute of the match Nafiz Kaçan shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Namık Kemal Tunçsoy showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. For all the effort they put into the match, the Alpu players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Karakecili FK.
