Yetkiner Erengüç had in the 32ndth minute some difficulties stopping Ata Atlıoğlu's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. If Gencalp Çelik had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gencalp Çelik to strike the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the game, Abdulkadir Uğurlubey was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Süleymaniye JK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Yesilova JK the free kick. After a rather tough play, Süleymaniye JK's Abdulkadir Uğurlubey got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Yesilova JK's Yetkiner Erengüç proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to save Yesilova JK from getting a goal against them. Yetkiner Erengüç made a fantastic save in the 70th minute, when Tayfur Oker sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Yesilova JK's Burhan Vuralhan got a free kick in the 71st minute. In the 78th minute the ball was on its way in behind Yesilova JK's goalkeeper Yetkiner Erengüç, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Üzeyir Dengiz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Abdulkadir Uğurlubey got his second yellow card in the match during the 94th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 95th minute, Abdulkadir Uğurlubey hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Üzeyir Dengiz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rıfat Yanık's shot from short distance in the 96th minute. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
