In the 4th play minute Seyit Yazar came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Besim İlbey. 1-0. After a rather tough play, Kozan FK's Baran Bilge Mukaddes got a free kick in the 7th minute. Abuzer Aynacıoğlu's late challenge caught a Altunhisar's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Abuzer Aynacıoğlu helped the player get up and apologised. Abuzer Aynacıoğlu kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Altunhisar's Bülent Sufi got a free kick in the 16th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Altunhisar's zone, Baran Bilge Mukaddes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Besim İlbey came out of the goal and Baran Bilge Mukaddes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Besim İlbey made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Peker Bengialp in the 27th minute of play. Sacit Ilgaz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bülent Sufi in the 30th minute of play. If Erkin Tuncay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Erkin Tuncay in the 38th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sacit Ilgaz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Besim İlbey made an important save on a dangerous shot by Seyit Yazar in the 42nd minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Erkin Tuncay to strike the kick off in the second half. Bülent Sufi in the 57thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Sacit Ilgaz, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After 58 played minutes Altunhisar got a freekick which was hit by Durmuş Şerif. Sacit Ilgaz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erkin Tuncay, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Bülent Sufi struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Sacit Ilgaz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Altunhisar. Erkin Tuncay received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Sacit Ilgaz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Kutlu Necdet fell near the penalty area in the 70th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Altunhisar's protests and gave Kutlu Necdet a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Altunhisar getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Kutlu Necdet hit a great ball. Peker Bengialp received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Besim İlbey tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Besim İlbey didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Peker Bengialp went, in the 78th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. In the 85th minute, Peker Bengialp got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Besim İlbey made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Peker Bengialp in the 88th minute of play. Seyit Yazar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Erkin Tuncay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 95th play minute Bülent Sufi came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Sacit Ilgaz. 4-1. Altunhisar's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
