Hulki Hekim started the match with the kick off. 2 minutes in the game, Nazil Dikici fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Mustafa Cumhur Ortaçgil having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Horasan FK's zone, Mehmet Bedri Nazmi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mustafa Cumhur Ortaçgil came out of the goal and Mehmet Bedri Nazmi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 17 played minutes Tesvikiye got a freekick which was hit by Ferit Üstay. Ejder İnanç showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hulki Hekim in the 20th minute of the match. Through an outstanding action, after 23 minutes, Mustafa Cumhur Ortaçgil successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Mustafa Cumhur Ortaçgil showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nazil Dikici in the 25th minute of the match. After 26 played minutes Horasan FK got a freekick which was hit by Behiç Açıkalın. In the 34th minute of the match Bilge Deniz sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Mustafa Cumhur Ortaçgil skillfully saved the ball. If Mehmet Bedri Nazmi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 44th match minute, Horasan FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Behiç Açıkalın to maneuver through the defense. After a very even first half the match was still tied. Horasan FK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nazil Dikici was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. When Ferit Üstay fell near the penalty area in the 63rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tesvikiye's protests and gave Ferit Üstay a yellow card for diving instead. Ferit Üstay kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. Horasan FK's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. If Mehmet Bedri Nazmi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The tension between the Horasan FK and the Tesvikiye players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Tesvikiye booed when Horasan FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sefa Keykavus didn't get a good kick on the ball.
