Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Kahramanmaras's Ali Numan Dalga started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After some fancy dribbling in the 4th minute, Ali Numan Dalga managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kahramanmaras's supporters rose to their feet, but Ali Numan Dalga was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mehmet Efe Kılıçhan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ali Numan Dalga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Mehmet Efe Kılıçhan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abdulbaki İltekin in the 11th minute of play forced Kahramanmaras's goalkeeper Ali Erdem Kılıçaslan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Ali Numan Dalga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Kahramanmaras booed when Köprüköy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ayhan Toprak didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Refik Halit Yalaz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Refik Halit Yalaz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mehmet Efe Kılıçhan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 31st minute of play. After 33 played minutes Kahramanmaras got a freekick which was hit by Çeliker Perkin. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hakan Hanecioğlu in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ali Erdem Kılıçaslan saved Kahramanmaras from getting behind. If Abdulbaki İltekin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Köprüköy's zone, Refik Halit Yalaz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mehmet Efe Kılıçhan came out of the goal and Refik Halit Yalaz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Köprüköy's Abdulbaki İltekin slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ali Erdem Kılıçaslan. That made the score 1-0 after 43 minutes of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Abdulbaki İltekin to make the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sümer Okseven in the 57th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ali Erdem Kılıçaslan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With his leg Mehmet Efe Kılıçhan managed to avoid a goal in the 63rdth minute, when Kahramanmaras's Refik Halit Yalaz fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. When Kahramanmaras's Ali Numan Dalga in the 65th minute got a chance for a shot 65th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Köprüköy's goalie prevented a goal. 66 minutes into the game, Ali Numan Dalga cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. In the 81st match minute, Köprüköy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Balaban Akbaşak to maneuver through the defense. Refik Halit Yalaz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 82nd minute of the match, but Mehmet Efe Kılıçhan made a huge save. The supporters of Köprüköy booed when Kahramanmaras was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alp Ayhan didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 86 minutes, Barışcan Şensal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Köprüköy's supporters crossed their fingers, but Barışcan Şensal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Abdulbaki İltekin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ali Erdem Kılıçaslan having to interfere. Kahramanmaras's Ali Erdem Kılıçaslan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sümer Okseven in the 94th minute of play.
