In the 7th match minute, Kahramanmaras was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hamza Yakup to maneuver through the defense. Asım Acar took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 8th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ali Erdem Kılıçaslan. Kahramanmaras's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Refik Halit Yalaz struck a weak shot in the 12th minute. Anıl Mücahit Karacan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kahramanmaras. After having played for 18 minutes, Refik Halit Yalaz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kahramanmaras's supporters crossed their fingers, but Refik Halit Yalaz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Yamanlar SK getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Erdal Aksakal hit a great ball. Ömer Rıza Erandaç kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Alp Ayhan's late challenge caught a Yamanlar SK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alp Ayhan helped the player get up and apologised. In the 22nd match minute, Kahramanmaras was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alp Ayhan to maneuver through the defense. In the 23rd minute of the match Asım Acar sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ali Erdem Kılıçaslan skillfully saved the ball. After 26 played minutes Yamanlar SK got a freekick which was hit by Birkan Süleyman. Anıl Mücahit Karacan made a fantastic save in the 29th minute, when Refik Halit Yalaz sent off a good shot on target. In the 33rd minute Ali Numan Dalga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anıl Mücahit Karacan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ali Numan Dalga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anıl Mücahit Karacan having to interfere. If Hamza Yakup had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Anıl Mücahit Karacan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ali Numan Dalga, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Abayhan Kayrar was the one to do the kick off. Anıl Mücahit Karacan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Refik Halit Yalaz in the 57th minute of play. Kahramanmaras's Ali Erdem Kılıçaslan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to save Kahramanmaras from getting a goal against them. Yamanlar SK's Anıl Mücahit Karacan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Refik Halit Yalaz in the 62nd minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Refik Halit Yalaz in the 63rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Anıl Mücahit Karacan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 65 minutes into the match, Kahramanmaras's goalkeeper Ali Erdem Kılıçaslan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ümit Çelebi. For all the effort they put into the match, the Yamanlar SK players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Kahramanmaras.
