Ahmet Ömür Kocay was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 5 minutes into the match. After 4 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Tarlabasi! 11 minutes into the match, Tarlabasi's goal looked a bit too open when Arif Memduh Dilsaz came free, but Üzeyir Balabey reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Halit Fahri Çavas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 24th minute Halit Fahri Çavas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ekber Tatu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 29 minutes into the match, Tarlabasi's goalkeeper Üzeyir Balabey had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Balaban Ruşen. After a defensive mix-up in Yesilhisar's zone, Halit Fahri Çavas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ekber Tatu came out of the goal and Halit Fahri Çavas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 34th minute, Güneri Özkut hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Halit Fahri Çavas came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Tarlabasi fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Halit Fahri Çavas couldn't finish the play. 46 minutes into the game, Güneri Özkut was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Yesilhisar's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tarlabasi the free kick. Güneri Özkut kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Arif Memduh Dilsaz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Recep Tayyip Turgut kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. In the 54th minute of the match Yesilhisar got a corner. Tarlabasi's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Polat Uğurhan ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 62nd minute Balaban Ruşen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Üzeyir Balabey saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Yesilhisar defense, Halit Fahri Çavas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ekber Tatu. The Yesilhisar fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ekber Tatu should have stopped the shot. In the 67th minute, Balaban Ruşen ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Üzeyir Balabey was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. In the 74th minute Balaban Ruşen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Üzeyir Balabey saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 78th match minute, Tarlabasi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ahmet Reha Yalgın to maneuver through the defense. In the 93rd minute, Halit Fahri Çavas left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Tarlabasi fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. Üzeyir Balabey showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Balaban Ruşen in the 97th minute of the match. Yesilhisar's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
