With a little luck, Karahalli SK's Alpertunga Tolunbay got control of the ball when Atilla Tarkan İnanır tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 5thth minute of the game Nuri Küdüs who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bornova's Devlet Özgenc was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Mustafa Yaşar Suni recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 16th minute Mustafa Yaşar Suni shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Devlet Özgenc saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 16th match minute, Bornova was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gazanfer Aksakal to maneuver through the defense. Mustafa Yaşar Suni took the ball and in the 17 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Devlet Özgenc. Devlet Özgenc dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Devlet Özgenc made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mustafa Yaşar Suni in the 23rd minute of play. Atilla Tarkan İnanır succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-1 in the 26th playminute. Nuri Küdüs sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ahmet Kadri Polatkan kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Atilla Tarkan İnanır got free with Alpertunga Tolunbay in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Mustafa Yaşar Suni had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Alpertunga Tolunbay showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Niyazi Zakir, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. 48 minutes into the match, Karahalli SK's goal looked a bit too open when Niyazi Zakir came free, but Alpertunga Tolunbay reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Niyazi Zakir was the one to do the kick off. Nuri Küdüs fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Devlet Özgenc having to interfere. Atilla Tarkan İnanır received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Alpertunga Tolunbay tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Atilla Tarkan İnanır sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Devlet Özgenc showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nuri Küdüs, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. After 74 played minutes Bornova got a freekick which was hit by Ahmet Kadri Polatkan. Nuri Küdüs's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Devlet Özgenc read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 76th minute of play. Mustafa Yaşar Suni sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Devlet Özgenc made a fantastic save in the 95th minute, when Mustafa Yaşar Suni sent off a good shot on target. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
