The Edremit JK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rauf Akdeniz should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Behiç Artuç in the 21st minute of play forced Emek SK's goalkeeper Batuğ Sungurbay to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Savaş Evvel charged in rather forcefully in the 23rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Savaş Evvel the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Savaş Evvel hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Behiç Artuç received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Batuğ Sungurbay tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Osman Ülger kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. When Ayberk Fırıncı came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Edremit JK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ayberk Fırıncı couldn't finish the play. Ayberk Fırıncı fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Batuğ Sungurbay having to interfere. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Aytaç Yurdaşen hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by İzzet Öge during the 63rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. If Ayberk Fırıncı had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rauf Akdeniz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Faik Şahbazoğlu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 87th minute, Atabek Ülmen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Edremit JK getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Feyyaz Abdulhakimoğlu hit a great ball. Edremit JK's Rauf Akdeniz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Atabek Ülmen in the 95th minute of play. Rauf Akdeniz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Faik Şahbazoğlu in the 97th minute of play. Yüksel Zülfikar took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 101st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Rauf Akdeniz. Edremit JK's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
