Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Doğan İmge started the match with the kick off. Harun Özozan made a fantastic save in the 5th minute, when İlbey Duha sent off a good shot on target. In the 6th match minute, Cide was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mücahit Nazır to maneuver through the defense. İlbey Duha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Harun Özozan having to interfere. When Trabzonspor's Doğan İmge in the 19th minute got a chance for a shot 19th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Cide's goalie prevented a goal. With splendid footwork Doğan İmge arrived in front of goal to shoot 1-0 by the left pole in the game's 19th minute. Vahit Kutluay didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Erhun Nasih went, in the 23rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. When Egemen Derinöz fell near the penalty area in the 27th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cide's protests and gave Egemen Derinöz a yellow card for diving instead. Egemen Derinöz hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Doğan İmge fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Harun Özozan having to interfere. Işıkalp Macit recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 37th minute, İlbey Duha left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Trabzonspor fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Vahit Kutluay showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Işıkalp Macit in the 43rd minute of the match. Erhun Nasih fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 49th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vahit Kutluay having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Erhun Nasih was the one to do the kick off. If Erhun Nasih had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mücahit Nazır struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Vahit Kutluay didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cide. Harun Özozan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from İlbey Duha, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. 72 minutes into the game, Doğan İmge cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Harun Özozan was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. İlbey Duha struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Harun Özozan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Trabzonspor. An unexpected shot in the 88th minute by Işıkalp Macit got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Göktuğ Aktaş made a great header on Cide's corner, it was just that Trabzonspor's Vahit Kutluay managed to reach the ball for a save. Trabzonspor's Vahit Kutluay proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to save Trabzonspor from getting a goal against them. After 96 minutes, Tacettin Baştuğ mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Trabzonspor and the Cide players grew even worse after the yellow card. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Trabzonspor fans cheered their team off the field, for while Cide had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
