The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Pendik's Ahmet Korkut Genişyürek played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Berkan Regaip in the 3rd minute of play. Ahmet Korkut Genişyürek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Berkan Regaip in the 5th minute of play. In the 7th minute, Yusuf Tuğser reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Altan Bengialp. The goal made the score 1-0. Berkan Regaip fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ahmet Korkut Genişyürek having to interfere. In the 11th minute, Münir Taki hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Aktuğ Zeki received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Altan Bengialp tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yusuf Tuğser in the 32nd minute of play forced Fatih's goalkeeper Altan Bengialp to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 36 minutes into the match, Pendik's goal looked a bit too open when Niyazi Kurceren came free, but Ahmet Korkut Genişyürek reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fatih's Altan Bengialp played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bayındır Mehmet Ünlüol in the 43rd minute of play. Altan Bengialp didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bayındır Mehmet Ünlüol went, in the 43rd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

If Enis Behiç Özal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aktuğ Zeki received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Altan Bengialp tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pendik's defense didn't have a chance, in the 60th minute, when Berkan Regaip scored to the left of an out of position Ahmet Korkut Genişyürek, making the score, 2-1. After a defensive mix-up in Pendik's zone, Niyazi Kurceren stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ahmet Korkut Genişyürek came out of the goal and Niyazi Kurceren tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Niyazi Kurceren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 78th minute, Batıhan Sermet hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Yusuf Tuğser kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. 82 minutes into the match, Pendik's goalkeeper Ahmet Korkut Genişyürek had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Niyazi Kurceren. In the 92nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Fatih's goalkeeper Altan Bengialp, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Aktuğ Zeki struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Altan Bengialp didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pendik. In the 96th minute, Enis Behiç Özal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
