Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Ahmet Tolga Yiğitkan kicked off to start the match. Ahmet Reha Şerif received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Çakabey Şanalp tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Körfez's Aydın Şendoğan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ahmet Tolga Yiğitkan in the 12th minute of play. Körfez's Ahmet Baki Uygunel got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Çakabey Şanalp took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ahmet Reha Şerif, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ahmet Reha Şerif in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Çakabey Şanalp prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 31 minutes into the match, Körfez's Ahmet Baki Uygunel sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Çakabey Şanalp narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Battal Gazi Hazret charged in rather forcefully in the 31st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Battal Gazi Hazret the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 31st match minute, Merinos SK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Battal Gazi Hazret to maneuver through the defense. Çakabey Şanalp took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ahmet Baki Uygunel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Oktay Çokman could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Aydın Şendoğan made a huge save. Oktay Çokman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ahmet Reha Şerif to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, one of Merinos SK:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Merinos SK. Çakabey Şanalp went to the wrong direction when Edip Işıker was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. The supporters of Körfez booed when Merinos SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abdurrahim Yürük didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ahmet Baki Uygunel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Çakabey Şanalp tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 63rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Körfez's goalkeeper Aydın Şendoğan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Oktay Çokman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Through an outstanding action, after 70 minutes, Çakabey Şanalp successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 72nd minute, Battal Gazi Hazret hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A hard shot 75 in the game by Ahmet Baki Uygunel from a close distance when the talented Çakabey Şanalp managed to make a qualified save. Merinos SK's players were relieved. In the 78th match minute, Körfez was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cevher Afşar to maneuver through the defense. Aydın Şendoğan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ertunç Akkın in the 80th minute of play. Oktay Çokman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aydın Şendoğan having to interfere. When Şentürk İlbey fell near the penalty area in the 84th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Körfez's protests and gave Şentürk İlbey a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Körfez's Şentürk İlbey got a free kick in the 85th minute. In the 92nd minute, Süreyya Orsan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After recieving a nice pass, Merinos SK's Ertunç Akkın tried to score from far away in the 93rd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ahmet Tolga Yiğitkan in the 98th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aydın Şendoğan saved Körfez from getting behind. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
