Karaman JK's Yaşar Temur got a good chance for a goal in the 7th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rıfat Pınarbaşı sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Yaşar Temur in the 14thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of İlhami Aktaşlıoğlu, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. A collision led to Kirikhan getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Metin Serter's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kuddusî Yerlikaya read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 37th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Kirikhan's zone, Yaşar Temur stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. İlhami Aktaşlıoğlu came out of the goal and Yaşar Temur tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 44th minute Atilla Tarkan Mutluer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kuddusî Yerlikaya saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kuddusî Yerlikaya showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Metin Serter in the 45th minute of the match. After the first half Kirikhan were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

İlhami Aktaşlıoğlu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rıfat Pınarbaşı, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. After some careless play in the Kirikhan defense, Yaşar Temur kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of İlhami Aktaşlıoğlu. The Kirikhan fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that İlhami Aktaşlıoğlu should have stopped the shot. İlhami Aktaşlıoğlu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yaşar Temur in the 64th minute of the match. Yaşar Temur fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without İlhami Aktaşlıoğlu having to interfere. In the 79th minute, Yaşar Temur got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rıfat Pınarbaşı in the 80th minute of play forced Kirikhan's goalkeeper İlhami Aktaşlıoğlu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ahmet Kadri Hatim during the 80th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Kirikhan's Ahmet Kadri Hatim got a free kick in the 81st minute. İlhami Aktaşlıoğlu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rıfat Pınarbaşı went, in the 83rd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Kirikhan's İlhami Aktaşlıoğlu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yaşar Temur in the 94th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Emrah İmge during the 95th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 95th match minute, Karaman JK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emrah İmge to maneuver through the defense. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Karaman JK fans cheered their team off the field, for while Kirikhan had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
