Körfez's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. 25 minutes in the game, Rıfat Pınarbaşı dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. Aydın Şendoğan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rıfat Pınarbaşı, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. The referee felt a red card was in order, 41 minutes into the game, when Emrah İmge put in a rough tackle. 41 minutes into the game, one of Karaman JK:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. A hard shot 49 in the game by Ahmet Baki Uygunel from a close distance when the talented Kuddusî Yerlikaya managed to make a qualified save. Karaman JK's players were relieved. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ahmet Reha Şerif was the one to do the kick off. Kuddusî Yerlikaya took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ahmet Reha Şerif, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Körfez booed when Karaman JK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mustafa Orhan Razi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ahmet Baki Uygunel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kuddusî Yerlikaya having to interfere. Ahmet Reha Şerif recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Ahmet Baki Uygunel came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Körfez fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ahmet Baki Uygunel couldn't finish the play. If Yaşar Temur had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bedir Doğan charged in rather forcefully in the 84th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bedir Doğan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In a very dangerous position, a player in Karaman JK fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 84th minute. Penalty! 89 minutes into the match, Karaman JK's goal looked a bit too open when Süreyya Orsan came free, but Kuddusî Yerlikaya reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. For all the effort they put into the match, the Karaman JK players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Körfez.
