The supporters of Yildiz JK booed when Gördes FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nurettin Kutunalp didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 13th match minute, Gördes FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sertaç Gökkuşağı to maneuver through the defense. 15 minutes into the match, Gördes FK's goal looked a bit too open when Abdullatif Vakkasoğlu came free, but Atabek Süleymanoğlu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mehmet Fatih Akel was a little too slow when Bilge Veysi got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 18th minute. The score was now 1-0. Rahim Ramazanoğulları charged in rather forcefully in the 26th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rahim Ramazanoğulları the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 26th minute, Rahim Ramazanoğulları hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Abdullatif Vakkasoğlu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gördes FK's Atabek Süleymanoğlu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alişan Beybolat in the 35th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Gördes FK's zone, Alişan Beybolat stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Atabek Süleymanoğlu came out of the goal and Alişan Beybolat tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Abdullatif Vakkasoğlu struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Atabek Süleymanoğlu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Yildiz JK. If Alişan Beybolat had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alişan Beybolat sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Abdullatif Vakkasoğlu was the one to do the kick off. 53 minutes into the game, Alişan Beybolat cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Atabek Süleymanoğlu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to Yildiz JK getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Rahim Ramazanoğulları hit a great ball. Mehmet Fatih Akel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bilge Veysi, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. In the 63rd match minute, Gördes FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zekeriya Taykara to maneuver through the defense. Abdullatif Vakkasoğlu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Atabek Süleymanoğlu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 66 minutes, Alişan Beybolat managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Yildiz JK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alişan Beybolat was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 78 minutes into the match, Yildiz JK's Abdullatif Vakkasoğlu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Atabek Süleymanoğlu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Abdullatif Vakkasoğlu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alişan Beybolat sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Abdullatif Vakkasoğlu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Atabek Süleymanoğlu was relentless in the 94th minute of the game. Yildiz JK's Mehmet Fatih Akel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Baykam Özkan in the 97th minute of play. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Yildiz JK eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
