Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Istinye's Hilmi Gülen started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Atabek Özonder had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Istinye's Mehmet Bilge Erandaç played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Naci Huzur in the 6th minute of play. In the 8th minute Balya were awarded a corner. Cengizhan Suergin went to the cornerflag to take it. Erkut Çavas took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 9th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Mehmet Bilge Erandaç. Istinye's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. A collision led to Balya getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Erkut Çavas hit a great ball. In the 12th match minute, Istinye was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arcan Kayı to maneuver through the defense. Atabek Özonder fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mehmet Bilge Erandaç having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Naci Huzur managed to get in a good position for a shot. Balya's supporters rose to their feet, but Naci Huzur was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mehmet Bilge Erandaç breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Atabek Özonder fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mehmet Bilge Erandaç having to interfere. Refik Halit Bekiroğlu hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Şaban Ayvaz kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Rüştü Sebat who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 30thth minute tested the skills of Altan Yura when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Mehmet Bilge Erandaç showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Atabek Özonder, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Mehmet Bilge Erandaç stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Naci Huzur's shot from short distance in the 34th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Enginalp Samin during the 36th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 36 played minutes Istinye got a freekick which was hit by Enginalp Samin. In the 41st minute, Naci Huzur got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Naci Huzur fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mehmet Bilge Erandaç having to interfere. With a little luck, Balya's Altan Yura got control of the ball when Rüştü Sebat tried to sneak it across the goal line. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Atabek Özonder to make the kick off. In the 58th minute, Rüştü Sebat got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 65th minute Rüştü Sebat shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Altan Yura saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Şaban Ayvaz's late challenge caught a Istinye's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Şaban Ayvaz helped the player get up and apologised. In the 66th minute, Şaban Ayvaz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With his leg Mehmet Bilge Erandaç managed to avoid a goal in the 69thth minute, when Balya's Naci Huzur fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Istinye's Mehmet Bilge Erandaç played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Atabek Özonder in the 70th minute of play. Mehmet Bilge Erandaç made a fantastic save in the 76th minute, when Naci Huzur sent off a good shot on target. When Atabek Özonder came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the Balya fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Atabek Özonder couldn't finish the play. Mehmet Bilge Erandaç made an important save on a dangerous shot by Naci Huzur in the 84th minute. Altan Yura showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hilmi Gülen in the 85th minute of the match. Abuzer Şirvan hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
