Zeynel Hunalp showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Berke Ziverbey, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. The supporters of Sariyerspor SK booed when Darende FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Selim Helvacıoğlu didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 19th minute of the match Ahmet Ceyhan Çetinalp sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Zeynel Hunalp skillfully saved the ball. The audience was convinced that İsrafil Bozok's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Abay Baykal was relentless in the 21st minute of the game. Sariyerspor SK's supporters rose to their feet, but Berke Ziverbey was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zeynel Hunalp breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Şansal Dirayet kicked well hit freekick during the 49th minute of the match. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sergen Kadrihan to make the kick off. Sergen Kadrihan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Zeynel Hunalp tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sergen Kadrihan's late challenge caught a Darende FK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. After a defensive mix-up in Darende FK's zone, Sergen Kadrihan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zeynel Hunalp came out of the goal and Sergen Kadrihan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 61 minutes into the match, Darende FK's goalkeeper Zeynel Hunalp had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Berke Ziverbey. When Berke Ziverbey came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the Sariyerspor SK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Berke Ziverbey couldn't finish the play. 64 minutes into the game, Sergen Kadrihan recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Zeynel Hunalp. Sergen Kadrihan showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-1. In the 68th minute, Berke Ziverbey ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Zeynel Hunalp was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Sergen Kadrihan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Zeynel Hunalp tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 80th minute, Berke Ziverbey got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Şansal Dirayet fell near the penalty area in the 87th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sariyerspor SK's protests and gave Şansal Dirayet a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Sariyerspor SK getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Şansal Dirayet hit a great ball. Aybek Andaç received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute.
