In the 6th minute of the match Arif Yafes sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Selçuk Çelikoz skillfully saved the ball. Berkan Raid fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yavuz Selim Aşkıner having to interfere. Sivrihisar:s Yavuz Selim Aşkıner showed great skill when he stopped Ahmet İlhan Şahap:s penalty. In the 18th minute Berkan Raid shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yavuz Selim Aşkıner saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Çağan Baba had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With his leg Selçuk Çelikoz managed to avoid a goal in the 24thth minute, when Sivrihisar's Çağan Baba fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Berkan Raid struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Yavuz Selim Aşkıner didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gölova. Çağan Baba in the 29thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Selçuk Çelikoz, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Selçuk Çelikoz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Çağan Baba, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 54th match minute, Sivrihisar was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ekrem Özgun to maneuver through the defense. Turgay Mert who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 55thth minute tested the skills of Yavuz Selim Aşkıner when he managed to save the team from getting behind. With a little luck, Sivrihisar's Yavuz Selim Aşkıner got control of the ball when Turgay Mert tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Saadettin Süleymanoğlu came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the Sivrihisar fans jumped to their feet.
