Aras Akağan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aytek Kayrabay, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mehmet Şefik Serkut fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Buğrahan Türkol having to interfere. In the 18th minute, Başar Aydınalp hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Aytek Kayrabay spun around in front of the goal 20 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Sehitkamil's goal. After a rather tough play, Sehitkamil's Başar Aydınalp got a free kick in the 22nd minute. If Suat Sıraç had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Aytek Kayrabay in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Aras Akağan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Başar Aydınalp managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sehitkamil's supporters rose to their feet, but Başar Aydınalp was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Buğrahan Türkol breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Erkin Satuk during the 44th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Gölova getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Erkin Satuk hit a great ball.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mehmet Şefik Serkut to strike the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bayezit Akçakıl during the 51st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Buğrahan Türkol was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a defensive mix-up in Gölova's zone, Mehmet Şefik Serkut stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Buğrahan Türkol came out of the goal and Mehmet Şefik Serkut tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mehmet Şefik Serkut in the 76th minute of play forced Gölova's goalkeeper Buğrahan Türkol to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 78 minutes into the match, Sehitkamil's goalkeeper Aras Akağan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Buğrahan Şengil. Mehmet Şefik Serkut took the ball and in the 83 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Buğrahan Türkol. Buğrahan Türkol dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Gölova's Erkin Satuk got his second yellow card of the match in the 89th minute. The referee ordered Erkin Satuk off the ground. Erkin Satuk kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. When Buğrahan Şengil came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Gölova fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Buğrahan Şengil couldn't finish the play. Hayrullah Akbal's late challenge caught a Sehitkamil's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hayrullah Akbal helped the player get up and apologised. After 96 played minutes Gölova got a freekick which was hit by Hayrullah Akbal. For all the effort they put into the match, the Gölova players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Sehitkamil.
