The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Kubilay Çakır had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Haluk Er sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 18 minutes, Hüseyin Cahit Sağan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sütlüce SK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hüseyin Cahit Sağan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Kubilay Çakır sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 22nd match minute, Sütlüce SK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ahmet Hafiz Elmastaş to maneuver through the defense. In the 33rd match minute, Sütlüce SK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ahmet Korcan Onursu to maneuver through the defense. Yunus Oruz struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Nadir Taci didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sütlüce SK. When the match had gone on for 38 minutes, Hüseyin Cahit Sağan put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Nadir Taci. Ayvacik SK's Nadir Taci played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Şanver Vedat in the 48th minute of play. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Hüseyin Cahit Sağan stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Kubilay Çakır sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Abay Önel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Haluk Er, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Haluk Er in the 57th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Abay Önel saved Sütlüce SK from getting behind. In the 69thth minute of the game Kubilay Çakır who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sütlüce SK's Abay Önel was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Abay Önel came out of the goal in the 73rd minute to try and stop a shot by Ayvacik SK's Haluk Er. But to his dismay, Haluk Er quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Kubilay Çakır received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Abay Önel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kubilay Çakır in the 87th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Abay Önel saved Sütlüce SK from getting behind. Şanver Vedat recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sütlüce SK's Abay Önel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Haluk Er in the 95th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Sütlüce SK's Ahmet Türkyılmaz got a free kick in the 95th minute. After recieving a nice pass, Ayvacik SK's Ertaç Cerme tried to score from far away in the 99th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Sütlüce SK had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
