The tension between the Yesilova SK and the Ayvacik SK players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 3rd match minute, Yesilova SK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ahmet Hayri Tansu to maneuver through the defense. Kubilay Çakır received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Yavuzalp Hünkar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 19 minutes into the game, Gaffar Okanay was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ayvacik SK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Yesilova SK the free kick. The supporters of Yesilova SK booed when Ayvacik SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gaffar Okanay didn't get a good kick on the ball. Türkeş Şems sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kubilay Çakır fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yavuzalp Hünkar having to interfere. Haluk Er sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Yavuzalp Hünkar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Haluk Er, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Yesilova SK's Doğuhan Yavuzhan shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 44th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Nadir Taci but with some difficulty. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Haluk Er was the one to do the kick off. Ayvacik SK's Kubilay Çakır got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ertaç Cerme hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. After having played for 60 minutes, Berker Rıza Diclehan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Yesilova SK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Berker Rıza Diclehan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Selçuk Çelik hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. Ayvacik SK's Kubilay Çakır got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Nadir Taci showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Türkeş Şems, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Yesilova SK's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
