Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Asrın Buminhan got the match started through his kick off. When Artun Yetener came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the Altay fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Artun Yetener couldn't finish the play. Agah Umut made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Asrın Buminhan in the 14th minute of play. In the 15th minute Anıl Ege Sururi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Agah Umut saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Asrın Buminhan blasted a shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Agah Umut having to make a save. In the 18th minute, Ahmet Boran İşçen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 21st minute the ball was on its way in behind Güngören SK's goalkeeper Atilla Tarkan Sarper, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 27th match minute, Altay was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Erdoğan Sonay to maneuver through the defense. Altay's Agah Umut played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Asrın Buminhan in the 30th minute of play. Asrın Buminhan blasted a shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Agah Umut having to make a save. Anıl Ege Sururi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Agah Umut having to interfere. Atilla Tarkan Sarper made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Artun Yetener sent off a good shot on target. When Erdoğan Sonay came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Altay fans jumped to their feet. After a rather tough play, Güngören SK's Ahmet Turan Selman got a free kick in the 39th minute. A hard shot by Ulu Mertkal from long distance, 39 minutes into the match, got Atilla Tarkan Sarper's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Artun Yetener got free with Atilla Tarkan Sarper in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 41 minutes into the game, Mithat Savaşer was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Güngören SK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Altay the free kick. After a rather tough play, Altay's Efe Şikel got a free kick in the 46th minute. In the 47th minute, Anıl Ege Sururi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Güngören SK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. The Altay players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Güngören SK were winning 0-1.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nusret Ergintuğ to make the kick off. Atilla Tarkan Sarper showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Artun Yetener, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. A collision led to Güngören SK getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Ahmet Turan Selman hit a great ball. Atilla Tarkan Sarper took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Artun Yetener, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Artun Yetener fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Atilla Tarkan Sarper having to interfere. 63 minutes into the match, Altay's goalkeeper Agah Umut had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Anıl Ege Sururi. After a defensive mix-up in Güngören SK's zone, Artun Yetener stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Atilla Tarkan Sarper came out of the goal and Artun Yetener tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tümer Tayman shot from long distance after 77 played minutes, a shot that Agah Umut with certain difficulty stopped from going in under the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Artun Yetener managed to get in a good position for a shot. Altay's supporters rose to their feet, but Artun Yetener was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Atilla Tarkan Sarper breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bahri Toprak during the 79th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Atilla Tarkan Sarper showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nusret Ergintuğ, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. 83 minutes into the game, Artun Yetener cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Atilla Tarkan Sarper was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Asrın Buminhan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Atilla Tarkan Sarper showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nusret Ergintuğ in the 94th minute of the match. Efe Şikel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Atilla Tarkan Sarper having to interfere. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
