Atilla Tarkan Sarper showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arkın Vefik, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. 5 minutes into the match, Bedirhan Revnak had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Atilla Tarkan Sarper. Güngören SK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bedirhan Revnak was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 16th minute, Bedirhan Revnak hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ertuğrul Bayar hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Anıl Ege Sururi succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-1 in the 27th playminute. If Bedirhan Revnak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bedirhan Revnak received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Atilla Tarkan Sarper tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Kestel booed when Güngören SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ahmet Turan Selman didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Bedirhan Revnak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The audience was convinced that Asrın Buminhan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hakkı Sebuktekin was relentless in the 40th minute of the game. After 45 played minutes Kestel got a freekick which was hit by Arkın Vefik. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Asrın Buminhan stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Arkın Vefik received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Atilla Tarkan Sarper tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Asrın Buminhan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hakkı Sebuktekin having to interfere. Atilla Tarkan Sarper made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arkın Vefik in the 56th minute of play. If Asrın Buminhan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 62 played minutes Kestel got a freekick which was hit by Önder Ahid. Asrın Buminhan struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Hakkı Sebuktekin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Güngören SK. In the 65th minute Asrın Buminhan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hakkı Sebuktekin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 66th minute, Ahmet Turan Selman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bedirhan Revnak sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Anıl Ege Sururi came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Güngören SK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Anıl Ege Sururi couldn't finish the play. In the 79th minute, Anıl Ege Sururi made a precise shot to the right of Hakkı Sebuktekin. Kestel's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. Hakkı Sebuktekin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anıl Ege Sururi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 89th match minute, Kestel was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tugay Adışanlı to maneuver through the defense. Bahri Toprak sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Güngören SK were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Kestel for a fine match.
