The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Doğuş Şükran hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Peker Koray managed to get in a good position for a shot. Serinhisar JK's supporters rose to their feet, but Peker Koray was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tevfik Keçeli breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Serinhisar JK getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Doğuş Şükran hit a great ball. Peker Koray fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tevfik Keçeli having to interfere. When Habib Şahsuvaroğlu fell near the penalty area in the 38th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Iznik's protests and gave Habib Şahsuvaroğlu a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Iznik's Habib Şahsuvaroğlu got a free kick in the 38th minute. Karahan Sarıcabay, 39 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. If Peker Koray had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. Serinhisar JK's Şentürk Tardu got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tevfik Keçeli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ahmet Efe Kayan in the 56th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Davut Şahit in the 60th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Erenay Nurbay prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Erenay Nurbay showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Davut Şahit in the 63rd minute of the match. After 63 played minutes Serinhisar JK got a freekick which was hit by Şentürk Tardu. With a little luck, Serinhisar JK's Erenay Nurbay got control of the ball when Erberk Karabey tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Davut Şahit had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Serinhisar JK booed when Iznik was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Onurhan Atlas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Karahan Sarıcabay was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 76th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. The audience was convinced that Peker Koray's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tevfik Keçeli was relentless in the 79th minute of the game. 81 minutes into the game, Serinhisar JK's Peker Koray nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Serinhisar JK were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Iznik for a fine match.
