Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Ergincan Aytolun took the kick off in the first half of the match. A collision led to Yumurtalik getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Behçet Yürüker hit a great ball. After 3 played minutes Ergincan Aytolun rounded Yumurtalik's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. After some careless play in the Düzce defense, Murat Dölek kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Adil Melih. The Düzce fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Adil Melih should have stopped the shot. If Fadıl Arslanoğlu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Düzce's zone, Fadıl Arslanoğlu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Adil Melih came out of the goal and Fadıl Arslanoğlu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fadıl Arslanoğlu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adil Melih having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Murat Dölek in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Adil Melih saved Düzce from getting behind. Düzce's Adil Melih played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fadıl Arslanoğlu in the 20th minute of play. In the 22nd minute Murat Dölek shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adil Melih saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Adil Melih stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Murat Dölek's shot from short distance in the 25th minute. After a rather tough play, Düzce's Ünal Sungurbay got a free kick in the 25th minute. Fadıl Arslanoğlu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Adil Melih tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 35th minute, Fadıl Arslanoğlu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 37 minutes, Alperen Bucuklu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Düzce's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alperen Bucuklu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Alperen Bucuklu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Murat Dölek sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Fadıl Arslanoğlu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Adil Melih was relentless in the 43rd minute of the game. If Ergincan Aytolun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fadıl Arslanoğlu was the one to do the kick off. Düzce's Adil Melih played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fadıl Arslanoğlu in the 51st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ergincan Aytolun in the 52nd minute of play forced Yumurtalik's goalkeeper Ergincan Zağanos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In a very dangerous position, a player in Düzce fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 54th minute. Penalty! Adil Melih took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fadıl Arslanoğlu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fadıl Arslanoğlu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Adil Melih tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 63 played minutes Düzce got a freekick which was hit by Buğrahan Dengiz. Düzce's Adil Melih proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 64th minute of the match, managed to save Düzce from getting a goal against them. Ergincan Zağanos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alperen Bucuklu in the 65th minute of play. If Murat Dölek had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alperen Bucuklu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Ergincan Zağanos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Düzce's Alperen Bucuklu got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 79th minute, Abdulhamit Albayrak hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ergincan Zağanos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ergincan Aytolun, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Behçet Yürüker's late challenge caught a Düzce's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Behçet Yürüker helped the player get up and apologised. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 84th minute of the game. One of Yumurtalik:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Düzce:s goal. 95 minutes into the game, Arif Bilge Yavuzalp was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Düzce's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Yumurtalik the free kick. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
