Adnan Yaver came out of the goal and Andaç Ağcabey tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 13th minute, Andaç Ağcabey got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Metehan Batıray fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adnan Yaver having to interfere. Trabzon's Andaç Ağcabey got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Güney Ulgu hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Adnan Yaver showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andaç Ağcabey, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Ahmet Hasan İkbal was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 34th minute. Keban FK's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. After 35 minutes, Faik Atlas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Trabzon and the Keban FK players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 35 played minutes Trabzon got a freekick which was hit by Faik Atlas. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ahmet Hasan İkbal was the one to do the kick off. In the 55th minute, Metehan Batıray left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Trabzon fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. 60 minutes into the game, Trabzon's Faik Atlas nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. The supporters of Keban FK booed when Trabzon was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Derviş Soyurgal didn't get a good kick on the ball. Çelikan Akçakıl fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Armağan Binışık having to interfere.
