Vatan Varol made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tanju Yurtseven in the 20th minute of play. Ahmet İlke Taybars fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Enis İhsan having to interfere. After 55 played minutes Gülnar FK got a freekick which was hit by Işık Özdilmaç. Datca's Vatan Varol proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to save Datca from getting a goal against them. After having played for 62 minutes, Ahmet İlke Taybars managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Datca's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ahmet İlke Taybars was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tanju Yurtseven could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 64th minute of the match, but Vatan Varol made a huge save. Vatan Varol took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bican Zeynelabidin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 72nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Datca's goalkeeper Vatan Varol, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Enis İhsan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mürsel Yaşanur, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Through an outstanding action, after 81 minutes, Vatan Varol successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Enis İhsan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ahmet İlke Taybars, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vatan Varol made a fantastic save in the 98th minute, when Tanju Yurtseven sent off a good shot on target. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Gülnar FK had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
