Baransel Sartık showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Refik Halit Nadi, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Akpinar FK's Baransel Sartık played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Refik Halit Nadi in the 20th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Akpinar FK's Seyfi Başok got a free kick in the 22nd minute. In the 23rd minute of the match Aydın İzzet sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Baransel Sartık skillfully saved the ball. Atalay İsfendiyar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edip Kurtaran having to interfere. Through an outstanding action, after 26 minutes, Edip Kurtaran successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 30th minute, Tatvan's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Atalay İsfendiyar fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Halil Akmaner was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 32nd minute. Akpinar FK's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Edip Kurtaran made an important save on a dangerous shot by Atalay İsfendiyar in the 34th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Refik Halit Nadi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tatvan's supporters rose to their feet, but Refik Halit Nadi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Baransel Sartık breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tatvan's Refik Halit Nadi got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 41 minutes, Halil Akmaner took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Edip Kurtaran to make any attempt to save it. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Refik Halit Nadi was the one to do the kick off. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Akpinar FK fans cheered their team off the field, for while Tatvan had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
