After 3 played minutes Emek SK got a freekick which was hit by Haluk Ulgu. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yavuz Selim Suerkan in the 16th minute of play forced Kasimpasa's goalkeeper Ahmet Göktuğ Nizami to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 17 played minutes Emek SK got a freekick which was hit by Haluk Ulgu. Ahmet Göktuğ Nizami showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yavuz Selim Suerkan in the 21st minute of the match. If Yavuz Selim Suerkan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 31 played minutes Kasimpasa got a freekick which was hit by İsmail Orhun Uğursay. Ahmet Göktuğ Nizami showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Asrın Denizalp, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. In the 33rd match minute, Emek SK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yusuf Ziya Kaptan to maneuver through the defense. Namık Kemal Çiftçibaşı's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Umut Yergin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 36th minute of play. Ahmet Göktuğ Nizami showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Asrın Denizalp in the 42nd minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Kasimpasa's zone, Yavuz Selim Suerkan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ahmet Göktuğ Nizami came out of the goal and Yavuz Selim Suerkan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Asrın Denizalp's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ahmet Göktuğ Nizami read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 47th minute of play. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

In the 51st minute the ball was on its way in behind Emek SK's goalkeeper Umut Yergin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A collision led to Kasimpasa getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Talat Karaman hit a great ball. Asrın Denizalp was extremely unlucky when he, in the 54th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. İsmail Orhun Uğursay hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. In the 63rd minute, Talat Karaman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 66 minutes, Yavuz Selim Suerkan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Emek SK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Yavuz Selim Suerkan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 70 played minutes Kasimpasa got a freekick which was hit by Talat Karaman. When Asrın Denizalp came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Emek SK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Asrın Denizalp couldn't finish the play. In the 74th minute Yavuz Selim Suerkan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ahmet Göktuğ Nizami saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Oğuzcan Tecer fell near the penalty area in the 75th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kasimpasa's protests and gave Oğuzcan Tecer a yellow card for diving instead. In the 81st minute Yavuz Selim Suerkan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ahmet Göktuğ Nizami saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 84 minutes into the match, Kasimpasa's goalkeeper Ahmet Göktuğ Nizami had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Asrın Denizalp. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, İsmail Orhun Uğursay managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kasimpasa's supporters rose to their feet, but İsmail Orhun Uğursay was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Umut Yergin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
