The wind increased when Utku Çiftçibaşı made the kick off in the second half. After 55 played minutes, Sarayburnu's Ahmet Ceyhan Özerdem shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Burç Şükrü came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Sarayburnu reached it. Samsun SK's Burç Şükrü played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abdulbaki Elmacı in the 59th minute of play. Kamil Geylani hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Samsun SK's zone, Abdulbaki Elmacı stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Burç Şükrü came out of the goal and Abdulbaki Elmacı tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Samsun SK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zülfü Gencal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Sarayburnu's Uğuralp Türegün got a free kick in the 81st minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Utku Çiftçibaşı managed to get in a good position for a shot. Samsun SK's supporters rose to their feet, but Utku Çiftçibaşı was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Güral Balıkçıoğlu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Müfit Yetener charged in rather forcefully in the 83rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Müfit Yetener the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Samsun SK booed when Sarayburnu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Müfit Yetener didn't get a good kick on the ball. Güral Balıkçıoğlu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Utku Çiftçibaşı in the 84th minute of play. Utku Çiftçibaşı fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Güral Balıkçıoğlu having to interfere. A hard shot 89 in the game by Zülfü Gencal from a close distance when the talented Güral Balıkçıoğlu managed to make a qualified save. Sarayburnu's players were relieved. 97 minutes into the match, Sarayburnu's goal looked a bit too open when Utku Çiftçibaşı came free, but Güral Balıkçıoğlu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
