Atalan Erserim made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers İstemihan Başsoy in the 9th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Atalan Erserim saved Yenimahalle from getting behind. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Atacan Sermet in the 12th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Garip Sabahaddin saved Bursaspor from getting behind. The audience was convinced that Teoman Kırca's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Garip Sabahaddin was relentless in the 19th minute of the game. If Arcan Usman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Bursaspor booed when Yenimahalle was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Erenay Uçur didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 52nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Bursaspor's goalkeeper Garip Sabahaddin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Yenimahalle's zone, Arcan Usman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Atalan Erserim came out of the goal and Arcan Usman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Arcan Usman in the 59th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Atalan Erserim prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Yenimahalle getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Erenay Uçur hit a great ball. If İstemihan Başsoy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a rather tough play, Yenimahalle's Erenay Uçur got a free kick in the 70th minute. When Arcan Usman came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Bursaspor fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arcan Usman couldn't finish the play. Atalan Erserim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arcan Usman in the 74th minute of the match. Atacan Sermet recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 95th minute Bursaspor were awarded a corner. Peker Hoyrat went to the cornerflag to take it. Bursaspor's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
