With a little luck, Edremit's Sakut Özok got control of the ball when Ayvaz Regaip tried to sneak it across the goal line. 13 minutes into the match, Edremit's goal looked a bit too open when Mutlu İslamoğlu came free, but Sakut Özok reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Acun Özak's late challenge caught a Göynük SK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Acun Özak helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Göynük SK booed when Edremit was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Acun Özak didn't get a good kick on the ball. Baycan Usbey charged in rather forcefully in the 15th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Baycan Usbey the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In a very dangerous position, a player in Edremit fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 15th minute. Penalty! Sakut Özok had in the 16thth minute some difficulties stopping Yakut İlkser's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his right side, but he still managed to hold the ball When Baycan Çubukcu fell near the penalty area in the 19th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Göynük SK's protests and gave Baycan Çubukcu a yellow card for diving instead. After 19 played minutes Göynük SK got a freekick which was hit by Baycan Çubukcu. Berkant Hafız might have been able to make a better finish in the 26th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cumali Balatürk. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Berkant Hafız ran back to his position shaking his head. After 30 minutes of play, Edremit's Berkant Hafız made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cumali Balatürk was left in no man's land by his defense there! Rafettin Ankara hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Ayvaz Regaip sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Berkant Hafız to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 56th minute, Mutlu İslamoğlu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cumali Balatürk showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Berkant Hafız in the 59th minute of the match. If Berkant Hafız had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Ahmet Emir Şanalp had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Mert Özgulec fell near the penalty area in the 72nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Göynük SK's protests and gave Mert Özgulec a yellow card for diving instead. Mert Özgulec hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Cumali Balatürk acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 73rd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Baycan Usbey. Mert Özgulec got his second yellow card in the match during the 76th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Mert Özgulec hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. 83 minutes into the match, Göynük SK's goal looked a bit too open when Berkant Hafız came free, but Cumali Balatürk reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Göynük SK's Ayvaz Regaip got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Göynük SK's Baycan Çubukcu got a free kick in the 86th minute. In the 91st minute, Uğurcan Sunguralp got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 95 minutes, Berkant Hafız managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Edremit's supporters crossed their fingers, but Berkant Hafız was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
