In the 4th minute, Tayfun Özsan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 5 played minutes, Fenerbahçe Beko's Hakan Temirhan shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Enis Behiç Murtaza came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Fenerbahçe Beko reached it. When Erhan Ülkenur came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the Fenerbahçe Beko fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Erhan Ülkenur couldn't finish the play. Enis Behiç Murtaza stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Erhan Ülkenur's shot from short distance in the 10th minute. When Vedat Adaş came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Karpuzlu fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vedat Adaş couldn't finish the play. In the 16th minute, Muhsin Çelebi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Enis Behiç Murtaza was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Vedat Adaş received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Ali Behzat Arslantürk tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tayfun Özsan's late challenge caught a Fenerbahçe Beko's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tayfun Özsan helped the player get up and apologised. Muhsin Çelebi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Muhsin Çelebi in the 32nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Enis Behiç Murtaza prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Erhan Ülkenur sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 41st match minute, Fenerbahçe Beko was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hakan Temirhan to maneuver through the defense. Erhan Ülkenur took the ball and in the 44 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Enis Behiç Murtaza. Enis Behiç Murtaza dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erhan Ülkenur in the 47th minute of play forced Karpuzlu's goalkeeper Enis Behiç Murtaza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Karpuzlu players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Fenerbahçe Beko were winning 0-2.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Muhsin Çelebi made a kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Karpuzlu's goal looked a bit too open when Muhsin Çelebi came free, but Enis Behiç Murtaza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Enis Behiç Murtaza was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Türker Oğuzman charged in rather forcefully in the 91st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Türker Oğuzman the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 91 played minutes Karpuzlu got a freekick which was hit by Türker Oğuzman. After 92 played minutes Fenerbahçe Beko got a freekick which was hit by Erhan Ülkenur. Muhsin Çelebi was extremely unlucky when he, in the 94th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. When the match was over Fenerbahçe Beko could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Karpuzlu throughout the match.
